From the Florida Highway Patrol
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision this morning in Alachua County that resulted in the death of the driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 12:10 a.m., a 34-year-old Fort White woman driving a sport utility vehicle was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 and left the roadway to the right for an unknown reason.
The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The FHP did not release the name of the SUV driver.
