Updating Breaking News: Driver dies after single-vehicle collision in Highlands County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision yesterday in Highlands County that resulted in the death of a driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 9:55 am, a sedan driven by a 35-year-old Sebring man was traveling south on Panther Parkway, south of Memorial Drive.
While negotiating a curve on the roadway, the driver lost control of the vehicle, rotated, and overturned.
The driver, not wearing a seat belt, sustained critical injuries, was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the driver's name involved in the crash.
