The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run fatality crash involving a pedestrian near SE 552nd Street and US-19 in Dixie County.
According to the FHP report, a deceased 35-year-old man from Old Town was found on the east shoulder of SE 552nd Street at approximately 8:45 AM on March 9th, 2024.
Investigators are still attempting to determine exactly where the collision occurred. Currently, the make and model of the vehicle involved are unknown.
FHP requests anyone with any information about the Driver or Vehicle involved to call the FHP Communications Center at 1-800-387-1290 or their local Crime Stoppers.
The FHP did not release the name of the deceased pedestrian.
