From the Florida Highway Patrol
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision last night in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 7:56 p.m., a Nissan Murano, driven by a 62-year-old Fort White woman, was traveling eastbound on Denton Avenue.
West of East Road, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which departed the roadway and collided with a utility pole.
Transported to an area hospital, the driver later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
The FHP did not release the driver's name involved in the collision.
