A 27-year-old Fort Myers man was killed, and several other people were injured Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Lee County. The Florida Highway Patrol said the man’s Nissan crossed the center line on Cemetery Road and collided with an approaching Chevrolet Suburban.

The Florida Highway Patrol has arrested a 42-year-old Immokalee man in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a 19-year-old Lehigh Acres bicyclist in Collier County. Investigators located a damaged Dodge pickup in Estero and determined that both of its headlights had been replaced after the collision, FHP said.
