Four people, including two teenagers, were seriously injured Tuesday night when two cars collided at County Line Road and Firewheel Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 9:09 pm September 22. FHP said a Mercedes sedan was traveling west on County Line Road when its driver turned left at Firewheel Drive into the path of an eastbound BMW sedan.
After the collision, both cars rotated toward the southeast, striking a road sign and then a brick wall, troopers reported. All four occupants suffered serious injuries and were taken to area hospitals.
A 20-year-old Wesley Chapel man drove the Mercedes, which carried a 21-year-old Zephyrhills woman. A 16-year-old Zephyrhills girl drove the BMW and carried a 15-year-old male Wesley Chapel resident.
FHP did not provide their names or further information about their conditions.
