Summary: The Florida Highway Patrol arrested 48-year-old Jean S. Dorisca in Boca Raton on October 29, 2026, after he had been wanted for more than two years in connection with a fatal 2024 crash. Dorisca faces three felony counts of vehicular homicide stemming from a collision on State Road 60 that killed three people, including his mother.

On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Florida Highway Patrol's (FHP) Criminal Alien Apprehension Team (CAAT) arrested Jean S. Dorisca, 48, who was wanted in Osceola County on a felony warrant for three counts of vehicular homicide stemming from a 2024 crash that killed three people, including his mother.

Dorisca, a Haitian national and lawful permanent resident of the United States, had been designated as one of FHP's most wanted fugitives after evading arrest following the July 16, 2024, fatal traffic crash. The triple fatal crash occurred on State Road 60 near the Polk-Osceola County line, where Dorisca allegedly attempted to pass a semi-truck in a designated no-passing zone and collided with oncoming traffic, resulting in the deaths of three motorists.

Through investigative efforts, CAAT Troopers located Dorisca at a residence in Boca Raton on October 28. On October 29, CAAT conducted a targeted enforcement operation and took Dorisca into custody without incident.

"For more than two years, this fugitive evaded accountability for a crash that claimed the lives of three innocent motorists. Thanks to the relentless work of our Criminal Alien Apprehension Team, Jean Dorisca has been taken into custody and will now face the criminal charges associated with this tragic crash,” said FLHSMV Executive Director Dave Kerner. “This arrest reflects FHP's unwavering commitment to protecting Florida's communities by locating and apprehending dangerous fugitives who threaten public safety and attempt to evade justice."

Dorisca was transported to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Detention Center, where he was booked on the outstanding Osceola County felony warrant. He remains in custody pending extradition to Osceola County to face the vehicular homicide charges, where he faces up to 45 years in Florida State Prison and revocation of his legal status as a permanent resident of the United States.
