Breaking News Overnight: Motorcyclist dies after collision with SUV in Pasco County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision last night in Pasco County that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.

According to the FHP report, at approximately 7:50 pm, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 41-year-old Port Richey man, was traveling westbound on State Road 52.

At the same time, a Toyota Sequoia sport utility vehicle, driven by a 60-year-old Land O Lakes woman, was traveling eastbound on SR-52. 

At the intersection of Parkwood Street, the motorcyclist completed a U-Turn into the path and was struck by the SUV. 

As a result, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash, while the SUV driver was not injured.

The FHP did not release the names of the drivers involved in the collision.
