Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision in Pasco County last night that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 10:10 p.m., an Oldsmobile van driven by a 40-year-old Hudson man was traveling southbound on US-41.
At the same time, a Yamaha motorcycle was traveling northbound on US-41.
North of Five Palms Lane, at a private driveway, the van turned left into the path and was struck by the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old Spring Hill man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The FHP did not release the names of the driver or motorcyclist involved in the crash.
