Breaking News Overnight: One dead, two injured after a three-vehicle collision in Collier County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a three-vehicle collision in Collier County yesterday that resulted in the death of a passenger.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 1:50 pm, a sedan driven by a 17-year-old Naples female was traveling south on Airport Pulling Road, north of Estey Avenue on the left turn lane.
At the same time, a pickup truck driven by a 26-year-old Naples man was traveling north on Airport Pulling Road, south of Estey Avenue on the right lane.
Ana a sport utility vehicle driven by a 62-year-old Naples woman was stopped westbound on Estey Avenue, east of Airport Pulling road on the right lane.
As they approached, the sedan turned left and entered the direct path of the pickup truck. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
After the crash, the SUV collided with other debris.
The right front passenger the sedan, a 41-year-old Naples woman, was pronounced deceased on scene. Both the sedan and pickup drivers suffered serious injuries in the collision, according to the FHP report.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the names of the drivers or passengers involved in the crash.
