Updating Breaking News: Single-vehicle collision in Hamilton County kills driver

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision yesterday in Hamilton County that resulted in the driver's death.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 4:25 pm, a 73-year-old Jacksonville man driving a sport utility vehicle was traveling south on Interstate 75 near the 465 mile marker. As it advanced, the vehicle left the roadway, entered the west unpaved shoulder, and collided with a tree.
The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The FHP did not release the driver's name involved in the collision.
