Breaking News this Morning: Driver dies after single-vehicle collision in Lake County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision in Lake County this morning that resulted in the death of the driver.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 5:12 am, a 2016 Nissan Versa driven by a 27-year-old Umatilla man was traveling northbound on County Road 439 south of Dairy Road.
For an unknown reason, the driver lost control, ran off the roadway to the left, and struck a tree.
The driver was transported to CFR Hospital and pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the name of the deceased driver.
