From the Florida Highway Patrol
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision in Seminole County this morning that resulted in the death of a passenger.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 10:56 am a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 78-year-old Winter Springs man was traveling northbound on Hickman Drive approaching Hickman Circle.
The motorcyclist made a left turn into a business driveway, and while navigating in the parking lot, suffered a medical episode and lost control of the motorcycle. As a result, the motorcyclist was ejected .
The masn was transported to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
The FHP did not release the names of the motorcyclist.
