Breaking News Overnight: One dead, two injured after a head-on collision in Suwannee County

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision this morning in Suwannee County that resulted in the death of a driver.

According to the FHP report, at approximately 1:57 a.m., a 22-year-old Live Oak man driving a sedan collided head-on with a 42-year-old Live Oak man driving a sport utility vehicle at County Road 49 and Bulb Farm Road.

The sedan driver was pronounced deceased at the crash scene, while the SUV driver suffered serious injuries, and a passenger in the sedan reported minor injuries to the FHP.

The FHP did not release the names of the drivers or passengers involved in the collision.
